Some possibilities to consider:
could be a dud accumulator allowing system pressure to drop when switched 
off - try switching on ignition, without starting, until the fuel relay cuts 
out and then try starting. This will allow more time for system pressure to 
build-up.

Control pin/air plate in metering unit sticking - remove the rubber boot and 
check that the air plate swings up freely;  remove the air filter & spray 
some WD40 up onto the bottom of the metering unit.

Is it using original injectors? Could be worn/faulty. You could pull them 
and check for leaks/spray pattern/etc.  If you pull all four and jumper the 
fuel relay so it will run the pump continuously you can see if one injector 
opens later than the others by slowly lifting the air plate, with the pump 
running.  You shouldn't get any fuel coming out of them when the plate is at 
rest.

Could be crap in the tank getting through to the injectors or a sticking 
injector. Was the tank damaged in the smash? The impact might have disturbed 
some crud in the tank.   Might be worth running the petrol down to the 
reserve and slinging in a bottle of redex. or you can pull the injectors and 
soak them in injector cleaner/get them ultrasonically cleaned.
