  If you're looking for a complete cleaning, run the "motor flush", then swap 
the filter, remove the oil pan and clean it out (if you have access to a 
solvent tank, use that. I've used  kerosene, Simple Green, and in a harsh 
case Zip-a-Strip), also look up into the block from underneath for anything 
that looked like the Motor Flush brought down from the top end (chunks, crud) 
and wipe them out with a rag. 
  Reasseble everything with new seals/gaskets and be sure to use a high 
quality oil.
