Re: Tire options for 16" wheels...
Absolutely not the 450's! You've probably heard my story on my set of them
or felt the pair that was on the rear of my car. I think that the 712's
are pretty good for the price, maybe not quite as sticky as your 8000's or
re71's but overall a good value-performance ratio. In those sizes its a
little hard to get a good selection. I think pirelli 7000's are made in
the 215 size, and that would be another decent tire.
also correct me if im wrong, but isnt the common 16" size for scirocco's
205/45, or 215/45.
There seems to be a bigger selection of those available.
