When i did mine with the double- non bracket, I used the stock 16V w/ AC
adjusting arm. You can set it down low enough to work but it hits the Alt.
fan. All you have to do is shave about an 1/8" off the arm below the slot.
If you really want to spend money, you can get the VW non A/C ajusting arm
and bolt, but the combo is ~$50.
