Can you identify this engine?

I finally pulled the head off of my mystery remanufactured engine, and took 
some pictures. Maybe someone out there can tell me exactly what this thing 
is. I got compression readings in the 150-160 psi range, which would be 
consistant with a low compression engine, but I was originally told 
otherwise.... Anyway, here is the link:
