Air for water (semi OT)

A discussion I was just having recently made me think of something that I'd
like to pass on. It is something that I'm sure will not be new to a lot of
people here, but I'd thought I'd mention it for those who might not be
aware. I found that to find the absolute best prices for watercooled VW
parts and accessories is to go to aircooled VW shows.In the swap meets, I
swear that the watercooled stuff was almost being given away. Of course, the
trade off is less that's available, but if you hit a whole bunch of them,
you're bound to find what you're looking for, for next to nothing. There was
one guy that had two rocco bodies (MKII) completely disassembled and the
panels were going for like 15-20 bucks a piece. Just something to think
about, I spose, when the junkyards are empty and the water shows are just
too damn expensive. PLUS, you get to check out all the awesome old VWs :-)
