I am swapping out the stock cams on my 1.8 head. I have Autotech cams I
am trying to put in.

1.) Can't I just take out the old cams and put the new cams in the same
way (lobe position).

2.) And about the damn gears!? How do you get them off the old cams and
on the news cams?

3.) What about springs? Are they hard to replace?
