putting a vr6 motor in a scirocco

I have a 84 scirocco and I'm thinking about installing a VR6 motor into
it.  Has anyone ever done this motor swap?  Do u have to swap the
suspension including the 5 lugs?  will it sit very low to the ground? 
What had to be custom made?  If so can u please e-mail me at
derrickmd18@juno.com and give me some advice on the swap.
