Re: C.V Shaft Question



I understand that this can be done but if you want to do the least amount of
work, pull the lower control arm bolt.  The arm pops in and out without much
trouble and is easier (to me) than trying to twist my cv joint into a
pretzel trying to get it in and out when doing a tranny or replacing axles.
You can do it either way but I have found that this way is easier and puts
less stress on your knuckle.  Ever have one flop apart on you because you
twisted it to far to one side?  It happens!!
