RE: 16v conversion not worth it? Scirocco too slow?
As it has been said many times on the list, it's not the car it's the
driver. If your friend thinks he's just gonna smack you down without
even trying, he's gonna be surprise. I beat many a car that should have
smoked me. Yuppies are famous for kicking back and being all relaxed,
cut to the next seen, their face is red, the knuckles are white and
they're ready to take their "muscle" car back to the showroom ;-0

Whoa! hold up. I mainly wanted to show my friend (he owns a 5.0
mustang)
that there was a hellacious difference between 8v and 16v and its worth
the
money and time to do a swap. I don't even think for a second I'll be
able to
go up against his Ford.
