Portland listers, know of a machine shop/guy named Dan Hall?

I'm thinking about buying a 1.8 16v head that's been
rebuilt and ported/polished with custom ground cams by
Dan Hall.

That name means absolutely nothing to me since I'm
from So Cal/New England.  What's the word on him? 
Good work?  Never heard of him?  I should take a pass
on the head?
