I had one on my 80 GTI, and I didn't really like the sound.  It only
started to sound good with less than 4 discs, but by then it was far
too loud...  With more discs it sounded like it was wheezing.  It also
started to rust out after about 3 months, and I ended up snapping one
of the (rusty) bolts in it.  After that it rattled like crazy.  There
was also a serious drone at highway speeds...  Unless you're getting it
real cheap, I would pass on the Supertrapp...

I also used a cherry bomb once - it sounded great on my friend's Honda,
but sounded like crap (really bad) on my Scirocco.  Don't know why, but
it did...
