Re: voltage dropping... dropping...



Bentley has a test for the alt & voltage regulator.  It goes like this: (Verify
it when you get home)

1.rev motor to steady 3K, check voltage w/ mmeter at battery.
2.keep motor @ 3K, turn on acc. (high beams, compressor, defrost) and check
voltage.

IIRC, if #1 checks out, and voltage sags below a certain level at #2, the
regulator is going south.
