Re: Opinions - 4-2 manifold
Humm isnt the euro manifold and downpipe similar to the TT 4-2 and 2-1 down
pipe system (ie: similar but bigger pipes than the 16v exaust+ downpipes?

Subject: Opinions - 4-2 manifold

I was at the parts shop last night asking the owner if he knew where to find
a 4-2 manifold for my JH locally. He didn't know, but he suggested that I
wouldn't get much benefit over stock. I'm sure I would get more out of a
larger aftermarket manifold/downpipe, like something from TT, but I don't
have the money to spend on it, and I won't be replacing the rest of the
exhaust system either. I don't expect a huge gain; I just want something
that gives me more potential for if I wanted to go with a larger TB (with
intake ground out to match) or different cam or something.
So...is it a waste of time to try and source a stock dual outlet manifold
and downpipe, or should I hit the junkyards? Who is running this on a JH
(or is everyone running TT or something)?
Thanks in advance...
