Distributor - thanks for input

To all you guys giving me input on this: thanks!

I'll take it all apart and reassemble the thing again tonight and see what 
happens and let everyone know.

I have no timing light .. best place to get one .. Kragen, Sears etc?

When the TDC mark is up .. the mark on the cam pulley should be up too 
right? (mine isn't which means someone didn't pay attention while installing 
it).

I just have to get the distributor ligned up in the correct spot .. all the 
other parts are new and were working fine with the old distributor.
