Passed CA smog :-)))) [tech details]
Well Mars passed CA smog and is good for another 2 years. (big sigh of
relief!!!!!)
It wasn't easy.
I went to 3 smog stations and 2 of them failed me on the visual without
even starting the test
1st guy failed me because of my intake manifold not being stock, he knew
right away that it was a VW Fox manifold....doh!
2nd guy failed me because of my BMS header. I tried to point out that it has
an O2 sensor and a Cat but no dice.
3rd guy hadn't a clue and ran Mars on the machine. :-)))))))
Here is the kicker, she passed VERY clean.....suprised the guy running the
test.

2001, yesterday with Techtonics 1847cc 22Kmi. (well broken in now)
Ignition @ 15* init adv. (euro curve), G-grind @ at 2* adv.
910 rpm 2440rpm Max allowed
HC (ppm) 18 9 120/150
CO(%) 0.01 0.01 1.50
CO2(%) 11.5 14.3
O2(%) 4.60 0.90
