Now I know that feeling... I used a good old razor blade, and took most of
the paint with it,
the trick is to manage the blade t only take into the clear coat of the
paint.. it peels right off, fsk the paint job on the pillar mind you but I
did not care.. got the car repainted.

I tried Goo Gone, 3M adhesive remover, 3M Woodgrain &
Molding remover, a heat gun, and various razors &
scrapers, none of these did the trick. The problem is
that after 15 years of being baked on by the Texas sun
a sticker becomes almost one with the paint.
