sunroof issues

Hey all, 
Scirocco newbie here.  Just scored my first rocco (an 86 8v)and while it's
overall very solid, it's  got a few (thousand) issues.  The current concern
is the sunroof, which basically isn't there.  The body colored outer skin is
present, but that's it.  Nothing internal.  Is it a huge PITA to replace the
missing pieces?  Any suggestions on how to handle this issue?  It's a damn
shame,most of  the rest of the interior is very nice.     

Also open to any suggestions about Scirocco resourses.  I'm familiar with
scirocco.org, any other good rocco places I ought to visit?
