You _can_ use later chassis brakes but-

Unless you can lay your hands on some 16v stuff for the right price
consider sourcing A3 rear calipers , etc. BECAUSE;

They are said to have been engineered to avoid the parking brake freeze
that is so common on VW rear disk brakes.

Am I right list? Can anybody confirm this?
