well paint is a funny thing it all depends on the maker of the paint
(because they CUT it with a "thinner of sort" basically for a MKII
exterior work it takes about 2 pintes of paint. which (PPG paint) makes 5 
pintes to use. depending on number of base coat.. (usually 3 is fair job) I 
would say 4 pintes of paint for 2 cars, now if you stripped it all out and 
its a FULL paint job it could be more, I would ask you local paint shop that 
would help you evaluate this. (that is what I did with my car prior to 
deciding on what paint I wanted as it affected the price of the job)

OK, so I can get the paint anywhere (prices are the
same everywhere - right?)

Can anyone tell me how much paint I'll need to paint
two cars?
