In the previous post, and for some time I have complained of erratic
power,(which had declined recently) which I though the new clutch would
correct. (the clutch WAS really toasted but didn't correct the slowness
problem) My HUSBAND noticed a noise (you have no idea how amazing that is) and
solved the problem, a hose had come off the front of the manifold and had no
doubt been slipping off  and leaking air from who knows when.
It's clamped down now and took it for a spin, pulse rate elevated, life is
good!! (what a simple fix, it managed 15's with the hose loose, should be
screaming past Hondas with wild abandon now!) Feels like about a 50 hp
upgrade. Seriously.
All is forgiven, the "silver headache" may be still needing a major repair
every week but YEE HAH, IT'S BACK !!!
