I have had about the same experience.
They are also et28 15X7 Ronal R-10's with 195/50/15 Yoko AVS's.
Mine will rub in the back with just me in the car but it is usually during
high speed (high g) turns on a bumpy roadway.
My BBS RS's with the 215/45/15's have never rubbed. They are et32. :D
They are however just a paper-width away from the front springs and rear
shock towers (making me a little nervous).
I think you are safe with et28's but IMO the best offset with the 15X7 and
195/50/15 combo would probably be et30.

Pretty much the same experience here.
