Dude, you can fix that in a weekend if you were a ninja about it. pull the head, drop the pan, order a brand new 2.0l bottom end. Maybe even re-ring the pistons or something while your in there? The only pain in the ass I see would be re-assembly. Still though, it's feasible :)
