does anyone have any thoughts on some of the higher end ignition systems, like the TEC-II? I remember one scirocco at the ND show a few years back was running that system on an engine with an oettinger 16v head (looked super duper trick at that!). Apparently, it had just been installed in the car, so it still needed some fine tuning, but one of the ND guys said that the car should easily make 200 hp N.A.
or is it overkill for non-forced induction/exotic motor applications?
