That car needs some more mods to compete with the crazy VW truck a guy I know 
owns . He extended the rear in a similar way by using another half of a truck 
box and also runs the tandem rear end . 
The part that makes it crazy is he welded up a subframe and installed a 500 
cubic inch Cadillac motor and tranny out of a Eldorado in the rear . He has 
attempted to run at the track before but they told him he needs a cage 
because of the hybrid nature of the car/truck . Untill then he has run up 
against a 12 sec. car and did not lose the race!!! 
He even has the front diesel motor still in there sometimes and can switch 
between the both of them with each one having its own controls .
