Stering Wheel Question

I am sick of my knees hitting off of the huge stock steering wheel, in my
88' 16v.  I kinda want to keep the VW steering wheel, so my question is. 
I was wondering if there are any other VW's with a smaller steering wheel
that will bolt right on to mine, with out any mods?
