gankin a fuel distributor

When I was lookin thru the local junkyard last weekend I noticed a fox with 
a fuel distributor that had electrical hookups on it like a CIS-E.  I wanted 
to steal this one and swap it with mine because mine leaks thru the plunger 
a little, and I don't want fuel on my k&n.  Would it work?
