DoorJam non-CAT sticker... Can I save it?

As I've been mentioning lately, I'm painting my '79. 
The car was a NON-Cat equipped car and has what's left
of the original VW sticker in the doorjam to prove it.
 Since I really need to remove it in the process of
painting EVERYTHING, how do I go about saving this
sticker?  Is there anyway to get a duplicate made?  I
have absolutely no intention of ever having a CAT on
this car and since NC does smog, I fear that some
greasemonkey will fail me someday.  Any help
appreciated!

PS... Isn't the Mad Bastard cool?
