Hey, i've talked to the guys at Callaway about VW stuff.  They said it would 
be a joy to work on a Callaway Turbo VW.  They Made about 5,000 Sciroccos and 
Rabbits,and Golfs over the years, and had some peculiar options that were 
specific to them.  So you can't "REGISTER" your car with them.  What do you 
expect, them ot take liability on a product they sold all of the rights to 
several years ago?  (See New Dimensions)  They even had an ID plaque.  I 
can't remember where they put them, but I have seen a Callaway "Factory" Car. 
 The thing is a Goddamned rocket that's for sure.  It's an awful bronzy brown 
mk1 Scirocco with matching Recaro interior and different wheels.  If you 
haven't noticed, Callaway has even distanced themselves From even the turbo 
Corvettes.  Reeves has come a long way from banging out kits in his Lime 
Rock, Conn. Garage.  There used to be brochures and pictures on 
www.vwrabbit.com, but I think the guy was trying to sell the domain, so i 
don't know where it's at.
