Why I Own a Scirocco

I have owned a couple of Detroit muscle cars (very fast) and I have owned
unmodified cars that would be considered very reliable. I got hooked on the
rocs because they are easy to work on, can be modified easily with minimun
expense, handle very well, and they are relatively rare (in the US) compared
to other marquees. I have spent a lot of money on both my rocs because I
was able to do so....and I wanted to do so.....What do I expect to get out
of my time and money?.....Enjoyment. I agree with Dirk, they are a hunk of
metal on four wheels. For the most part, I enjoy this list and have gotten
good advice and some needed help from it. Let's all be careful the way we
react to eachother. I have seen a couple of lists that have all but self
distructed because they became an on-line battlefield rather than a forum.
