Sciroccos came with 185/60 14s on the factory teardrops.  GTI 16Vs came with
205/55 14s.  In the time that I've had my car I've had both and now have
Dunlop SP8000s 195/55 14s.  I haven't heard of anyone putting larger than
205/55s on them.
