RE:  PU bushings.

It makes difference if the raw material is two-part or basically one-part 
that evaporates a dissolving solvent.  Latter much more likely to 
deteriorate, IMO.  If they say the mfr cures in autoclave, it is probably 
former.  PU also needs UV stabilizers or it will yellow with age.  Color 
helps.

Oh yeah,  Italian Job movie featured Innocentes me thinks which were 
Italian Mini licensees.  But, I haven't seen movie in decades...
