Speaking of engine conversions....

Just out of curiousity, what other kind of engines have people swapped
into 'roccos in the past?  I know of a pic of a Mk1 with a 350 (drag
racer) one the .org pic page, but are there any other common engine
swaps?  My Volvo enthusiast buddy knows a bunch of people who have
swapped Ford and Chevy V8s into thier cars (I suppose the whole
rear-wheel drive thing helps there), anything like that with VWs?
