need help! (cabriolet)

well, tonight it happened. my girlfriend (yes, the one that has wrecked 2 
sciroccos so far) called me tonight from where she worked. some one had 
stolen the grill and inner fog lights off of her 1992 cabriolet, and left her 
a note saying how much that they were attraced to her and were wishing to 
"meet up" with her sometime. that really bothers me seeing how her car was 
parked in the middle of an open, well-lit, busy, mall parking lot, that was 
supposedly being patrolled by security guards. it happened once before and 
she saw the people get into their car when she came out of the mall. they 
just eneded up taking loose a few brackets the first time. this time they got 
the whole thing. 
so, i need to get the grill and inner fog lights from somewhere so that can 
be replaced, and also some info on what legal approach she could take against 
these people if they are caught(the cop said that he knew of someone who had 
a car that matched the description and had been caught stealing vw parts for 
a cabriolet before). apparently this person has been watching her for a while 
and knows exactly where she goes and knows when and where she works which is 
the scary part. 
it's really bad to see this stuff happening, and i really hope that these 
people get what they deserve.
