Re: Got fuel,got spark. Won't start



Once, my car would not start.  The problem was the air flow sensor plate had
stuck in the wide open position, flooding the motor before it would start. I
poked it down with my finger and it was fine ever since.

A second time it would not start, I added an auxiliary ground strap from the
battery to the mounts for the coil.

Both times the VW started immediately.
