1.6?

I was looking under the hood of my 82 a couple of days ago.  Stamped in
the metal on the front of the block (prob between the #2 and #3
cylinders) was, in large print "1,6".  I'm positive that the 82 has the
1.7l engine, so what's with this?  Do other 1.7's have this marking or
has an engine swap been performed sometime before I got the car?
