Feeling like a dumbass....

Symptom - popping sound and slight shudder from
drivers side when making left hand turns
diagnosis - bad drivers outer CV joint
Remedy - wait 2 weeks then buy new axle-half from NAPA
(too lazy to rebuild)

Repair procedure - mentally prep myself for yet
another job, change clothes, get out all necessary
tools...

Put jack under car, pump a couple times

Get out lug-nut key, spin it around to make sure it is
seated

Notice that lug nut keeps spinning.

Check other lug nuts - all are barely finger tight.

Tighten lug nuts, drive car in circles

Rejoice at not having to replace CV joint

Call shop and yell at them for not putting my lug-nuts
back on tight after aligning the car... (dunno why
they took them off)

I need more sleep......
