Jeez Mike, you completely missed BOTH of the "official" list suppliers -

www.parts4vws.com, the esteemed Potterpeople, serving from the left coast, 
-and-
www.germanautoparts.com, Mark at Adirondack, serving from the right coast.

These guys get the vast majority of lister business between them, and for
good reason - they have supported us for years and do us right!
