messed up wiper arm

my driver's side windshield wiper arm is rounded out (where the arm connects
to the spindle so it goes back and forth) and it doesn't wipe anything. The
spindle's threads are perfectly fine, just the wiper arm threads are gone.
Anyone know a temp fix that I could do until I locate a replacement?
