There's really no point in replacing the injectors, as they are not at
'fault' for not flowing enough fuel at high rpms...they're only doing
what they've been 'told', and aren't at saturation. The fuel system is
directing some of the fuel pressure into the return lines, even
at high rpms...by messing with how the DPR controls the amount of fuel
that goes to the return line, you can get more fuel to flow to the
injectors. Attack the 'problem' at it's source, with a CIS-E tricking
device like the TT or Autotech enrichment modules. Beyond that, switching
engine managment is really the only other way. I hear the late model A3
2L 16v (Euro spec) used some sort of fuel rail and maybe even electonic
injectors...anyone ever get any more details on that? Would be quite
trick in my book...higher 'NIFTY' ratio then the purely mechanical KR code
16v CIS management stuff also.... :)
