My $0.02:  I'd reckon your old one was bad, or
something else is misadjusted.  Bad O2 symptom is loss
of power...

PS Bosch P/N 13913 is a perfect 3-wire replacement for
my '93 Cabby (digifant) O2.  I just snipped the wires
and resoldered the old connector.  Under $40 from AutoZone.
