Motive Bleeders - Owners, please read

I bought the Motive bleeder and used it last week.  Really nice setup - high
quality M/C cap, gauges, and so forth.

Only thing I am not sure of is the seal for the pump.  Takes a lot of
pumping to get pressure up and that only after I oiled the seal.  Before
oiling it there was NO pressure generated.  Anyone else with the Motive
bleeder experiencing this??  I guess I should email them.
