Did you put any extra ground wires on?
If not, add one from the - batt terminal to the mounting bolt for the
ignition coil.
The problem is a bad ground, and the coil doesn't have enough current to
produce a decent spark while the starter is using all the available battery
power. Put the ground in and the car will be fine. :)
