I don't know some guys swear by making the switch from the auto adjust to the 
manual.  I did just the opposite.  When I got the car someone had put the 
manual cable in, and one day it snapped on me.  So I put the auto one back 
in.  I liked the way it felt.  To me it felt much smoother, and easier to 
manipulate the clutch to exactly where I wanted it. I like the auto one 
better. later.
