The Passat/Quantum and Fox are not A1's, they are based on the B
platform, which has the engine mounted in a longitudinal position, 
and not transverse like an A1, which includes all Sciroccos '74-9X?,
Rabbits '75-84, Rabbit Convertibles '80-84, Cabriolets '85-93, Rabbit
Pickups '80-83,  and Jettas '80-84..
