Hmmm, flat boring land vs fun twisty mountain roads

no contest: Mountains

.....and there is always PPIR (Pikes Peak International Raceway) down by
Colorado Springs.....plus a bunch of other tracks local, and even the
famous Pikes Peak road that the rally is run on every year....

Ahem, I grew up in Boulder.  I'd take a Colorado winter over a St. Louis
one anyday.  300 days of sunshine a year, and no humidity.  Colorado is
the bomb.
