Just last week, I left my lights on when I got to work.  Doh!!  I have a 
good battery, though.  So my rocco started right up!  I use Interstate 
batteries, btw.  My car was sitting for approx 9 hours.  Towards the end of 
my last battery's life, it wouldn't keep the parking lights on for more than 
a few hours.

Bottom line, check your alternator brushes and consider getting a new 
battery.
