Re: First gear problems

Check your shifter bushings first.  Mine used to do
this on occasion, because my bushings were so worn. 
When I would put it into first, it wouldn't engage
fully, then when I hit the gas it would lurch and pop
out.. felt like I got rear ended.

They cost $10... vs the $2000 option..
