used P&P'ed head questions

I have the possibility of getting an already P&P'ed 1.8L 16v head and
I want to know what kind of questions I should ask.  

The head is slightly shaved so I want to know what kind of
compression it will make on my 2L block so I know to ask that.

But, is there other info such as flow #rs, etc. I should be asking -
the idea is to figure out at what rpms the head makes power - I want
this to be for a daily driver, and not a race car, so I don't want to
buy a head with a race port job.

So far, I have asked

1) compression
2) has it been on a flow bench - if so, what kind of #rs are
produced
3) what shop did work

Any additional things I should ask/input greatly appreciated.
