Block and engine compartment paint?

does anyone have a tip on what kinda paint i should use to paint the engine
compartment and the block black?
also does anyone have any tips i should keep in mind when rebuilding and
cleaning the engine, this is my first time and i pulled the engine to paint
the engine compartment adn make it nice then i got my self into pulling the
head and replacing all the valve components, and gaskets, and rings and main
bearings, also if anyone has A WATER PUMP for a 1.8l they would like to get
rid of please let me know..
